REPAIRS 

*Please review terms and conditions specified below


-To be eligible for a repair, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

-To evaluate your repair, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and photographic evidence sent to our email hola@mariloushop.com / whatsapp: +506 6177 1351 

-Please do not send your purchase back unless it has been approved to do so by the MARILOU team. 

-For no reason will MARILOU staff be sent to the customer's home or place of project to apply guarantees except by mutual agreement. This agreement would have to include coverage of expenses of  sent personnel on behalf of the client in advance. 

-If you received previous approval by the Marilou team you may send your item to: Guachipelín, Escazú, Costa Rica Rocazul Center, local #4, 10201 San José , Costa Rica.

-Once your item is received and inspected, we will send you an email/whatsapp to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your repair. 

If you are approved, the workshop will proceed to correct the damages within a period of time according to the availability of the workshop and the preexisting orders at the time. 

-We are not responsible for variations in tones or colors, so the customer is hereby notified that the piece of furniture may vary in tone or colors against pieces that may have been acquired in the past. 


NON - APPLICABLE FOR REPAIRS


- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

- When the product was used for other purposes other than those for which it was designed.

- Products with obvious signs of use 

- Any item not in its original condition. Damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to manufacturing errors.

- By direct exposure to the environment or its elements such as rain, snow, humidity, dust or fire (unless the item was specifically manufactured for this purpose).

- By exposure or treatment with chemical products.

- Natural wear of fabrics, vinyl, seams and coatings. 

- For any damage caused during transfers, removals or any movement of the furniture outside the original address to which it was sent to. 

 -For damage caused by transport service hired by the client (parcels, private transport, etc.)

- Due to their nature, certain materials, being natural, such as wood, rattan, wicker or fabrics, may have variation in tones, color, veins and inlays different from those shown in the images, so it is accepted that these variations may exist and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Returns for custom - made orders

 Artisanal custom made products are manufactured as “special orders”. Special meaning, the use of certain finishes, fabrics, designs and dimensions that have been requested for very specific needs. These products are non refundable

In case the product does not meet the needs, a new order has to be placed in. This can be done through our website or with the help of any of our team members in customer service.   


Returns for in stock / preorder items

[MARILOU team is not responsible for any monetary refunds]

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange. A new order must be placed in.

EXCHANGES

If you received previous approval by the Marilou team you may send your item to: Guachipelín, Escazú, Costa Rica Rocazul Center, local #4, 10201 San José , Costa Rica.

Once your item is received and inspected, we will send you an email/whatsapp to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your replacement. 

If you are approved, then your exchange options will be sent for you to trade within a certain amount of days. 

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be replaced, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 


Shipping 

To return your product, you should mail to the following address: Guachipelín, Escazú, Costa Rica Rocazul Center, local #4, 10201 San José , Costa Rica 


The customer will be responsible for the payment of shipping costs in case of any item returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
